About Joaquin
BACKGROUND
JOAQUIN GUTIÉRREZ was born in El Salvador and immigrated to Québec, Canada at the age of 16 during the civil war that affected his homeland in the 1980s. After specializing in computer programming and graphic arts, he followed a conventional path—raising a family and working as a graphic designer.
At one point, he received a gift of the novel titled The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield. This marked the first book he ever read, yet it profoundly influenced him by shifting his perspective on life and propelling him onto a path of self-development and introspection that irrevocably changed his life for the years to come.

Fueled by a quest for meaning and his fluency in English, French, and Spanish, he founded his own company while juggling family and creative pursuits. In 2022, he returned to El Salvador, drawn by new opportunities and the flexibility of remote work, which allowed him to focus on writing this book while embracing diverse cultures.
Today, he is the proud father of Kin, Andy, Jesse and Adam—four remarkable young men who continue to be the adorable boys he still cherishes in his heart. This book is lovingly dedicated to them and to humanity, encouraging future generations to aspire to a higher and more authentic existence where everyone can thrive.
